At The Grotto® we stand behind the quality and fit of our product. Our goal is to make sure that you are not only 100% happy with your garment, but are also willing to tell your friends about your experience with us.

Since our suits are 100% custom and designed for you, we realize that some adjustments may be necessary. In the rare case that you are not satisfied with your order, our service team will quickly evaluate and handle alterations.

Your custom garment must be picked up within 14 days of arrival email. Customer will be responsible for alteration costs after 14 days. Please allow 7-10 days to complete alterations.

We suggest you bring dress shoes, a belt and a fitted dress shirt when you come to try on your suit to ensure the intended fit. Alterations must be communicated at time of pick-up.

Groomsmen, please don’t wait until the last minute to try on your suit. These are custom garments and we want to make sure they are perfect for the big day.

If you receive your suit via mail, alterations must be communicated within 10 days from the date you receive your suit. If you are not able to come to The Grotto® for alterations, we would still love to speak with you. Please email us at info@groomsgrotto.com so that we can help assess the fit of your suit.

If remote alterations are needed, we will reimburse tailoring up to $75 on your first suit. In order to receive your reimbursement, please have your tailor complete the alterations reimbursement form and send back with an itemized receipt to info@thegrottomenswear.com.

Yes, we partner with some of the best fabric mills in the world to bring you a variety of fabrics that fit every budget. If we don’t have a particular fabric in store, we can most likely source it for you. Our premium fabrics range from $699 to $2200 for a two-piece custom suit.

We have a long-standing relationship with our master tailors and are constantly looking for ways to leverage technology to reduce cost and improve quality. Our measurement process starts by collecting a variety of body measurements. We then measure body posture such as shoulder slope, arm rotation, back curvature and more. Lastly, we discuss your style and fit preference, so you get the suit you envision.

All this data is then used to create a unique pattern that is specific to you. Once the pattern is done, it is transferred to your fabric where it is laser cut for precision. After all the fabric is cut, it is hand assembled by our team of master tailors. Once the garment is complete, it is put through a rigorous quality assurance process to ensure measurements are correct and the quality is up to our standards.

Our lead times vary throughout the year and differ between wedding parties and individuals. Below are the timelines:

• Individuals: 4-6 weeks
• Weddings: 3+ months

• For weddings we charge $150 per suit if less than 2 months to the event date.
• For individuals we charge $150 for 2-3 week delivery time.

At The Grotto® we value the experience just as much as the quality of our suits. We have found that about 3 months is needed to avoid stress for the Bride and Groom. We aim to have all our suits back to the wedding party at least 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Most weddings usually have a couple of guys or gals that cannot make it to the group fitting, and that is okay. We have a remote measurement process that is easy and efficient. Please see our alterations policy section related to alteration cost reimbursement for remote groomsmen.

No. We started this company because we hated the rental process and rental fit. Our goal is to get you a high-quality custom suit that doesn’t cost much more than a rental.

Yes! Our company is called The Grotto® Custom Menswear and we make custom suits for a lot of non-wedding clients. Our wedding channel is called Grooms Grotto. We initially started with the wedding niche but quickly expanded as our customers returned after their wedding for their next suit. We have just as much fun helping you design custom menswear for any occasion.

Yes, we offer custom shirts, slacks, vests, jackets, casual wear, and custom shoes and accessories.

Out of respect for the customers who book an appointment, we ask that you please make an appointment prior to coming in. This also allows us to provide the service levels and one-on-one attention that our clients deserve. However, you can always call ahead to see if we have any cancellations for that day or if we can squeeze you in!
